We get together twice a month in the Friendship Room at St. Luke's United Church, 353 Sherbourne Street (at Sherbourne and Carlton), just three streetcar stops -- a five minute walk -- east of the College subway station. The beginner class is from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., while the intermediate and advanced class is from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
But we haven't forgotten our salsa enthusiasts! Tina's new studio opened a few years ago, and she has generously offered it to us on the other Friday evenings for lessons. Her studio is at 539 King Street West (between Spadina and Bathurst). The beginner class starts at 7:30 p.m., while intermediate and advanced students should show up at 8:30 p.m.

The current Steering Committee has come to the decision that a Hiatus is in order. Things may start up again in September with a new Steering Committee. Of course that depends if there are those interested in leading the group.
If any you or your friends would like to restart a Ballroom Dance Club for our community, contact us and we can supply you with access to the website, our email list, whatever there is left in the bank account, any wisdom we may have and a disco ball.
It's been a good run. We've cha-cha-cha'd down Yonge Street, performed on many stages throughout many Pride weeks and taught a tonne of steps to a tonne of people.
There's too many people to thank for keeping the group going over the decade, so let's just say it was a pleasure to both lead and follow you through our little dance.
